Final Project

I chose to photograph a picture this flower because I love taking pictures of plants. there very different. I remember last year around this time I seen this plant and I fell in love with it, and when I was doing my senior exhibition, I trying so hard to look for the same plant, and when I seen the same plant, I just had to photograph it. And since it was my final I wanted to do something I love to do, so I chose this plant in particular. I love the natural lighting thats hitting the plant, and I love the colors that are showing,  I feel the photo is very vibranant and that the strands on the flower are really noticeable and you can see all the shapes and everything is just on point.

I chose to photograph foods because I was inspired by one of my classmate to try and photography foods because I was able to try something new and I was able to eat at the same time(: thats the best, I thought It was pretty hard to make the light hit the hamburger the right way, and to edit it in photoshop,  and I thought it was hard to set it up and make the hamburger look tastey. But other than that I thought shooting foods were pretty fun because I was able to eat and enjoy everything, If I could shoot it again, I think I would use fruit or morning breakfeast because I love fruits and shooting a morning breakfeast looked like it would be fun.

Create Blossfeldt photo

I used the words balanced and texture, Karl Blossfeldt photograph are very balanced and has a lot of texture, he also took pictures in black and white, thats why I tried to take black and white picture. I tried to find plants that have a lot of texture , I also tried to balance my picture as much as I can. Karl Blossfeldt would take pictures you wouldn't usually see in your daily life, I took a picture of this plant because its very different and its a plant you dont see in your daily life .

I used strobe lighting and a soft back to create the lighting of photograph. This photograph contributed to my theme cause of the lighting, my theme is based on a certain type of lighting and this certain plant has a unique growth to it. Yes, my idea changed over a while, I started wanted to photo more plants with texture and different patterns. From here I will go with the same idea and find more plants that are unique.

I used a strobe light and a light box to make the lighting come out like all my other pictures, this fits with my theme because its about nature and I have all the same lighting for all the pictures I took. The way i took this picture i had the flower facing me and was right in front of the flower. No, my idea hasn't changed, i feel as if it grew stronger and this picture motivates me to take more picture like this. I like how the flowers look when i use this type of lighting then the other plants. From here I'll take more pictures of flowers, and see where I go with that.

The way i took this picture i had the flower facing me and was right in front of the flower. I think I need to work on focusing, I think I wanna take this picture over again to make it more focus, and go from there. But I haven't changed my mind, I like my theme, but I think I need to take more pictures on a daily and speed up the process.

The way i took this picture i had the flower facing me and was right in front of the flower. I feel like this picture doesn't work because i just seems random with my theme, but as weeks by I think is fitting with my theme because it's working it look very different, and it fitting with the idea I'm trying to pursue, I going to try and take more picture like this with different plants.

The way i took this picture i had the flower facing me and was right in front of the plant, I think Im going to start taking more pictures with plants, start exploring more plants, and also trying to find plants that look different and stand out in nature. This fits with my theme because of the lighting and it works with the idea I'm trying to pursue .

I shot this from a top angle looking down on these piece, for lighting I used the strob light and this white box that helps the lighting . This works with my theme because im taking pictures about nature plants, and the lightimg is working with my idea. No, my idea didnt change photographing this picture, actually I started to like taking picture like this , first I didnt because it wasnt it didnt look like it was working at first , but when I started to edit the pictures, I started to like it more and more. From here I think I will be doing the same thing but with different plans, and trying to make things alot more intresting.

I used the same lighting as the other pictures, I used a strobe light and a white box that I can look in. I took this picture looking down on the branch. This works with my theme because Im using the same lighting in every picture. But I like I need to wok on focusing the picture and also editing my pictures so they have all the same lighting because some have darker lighting or others are more bright. Also there some or more sharpen and other are soften and I think that reason is because Im not focusing correctly.
